Importing subitems of a current item

In some cases, you might already have subitems on your board that you want to turn into templates, in order to reuse them down the line. 

Whether you are creating or editing a template, you will see a button to import the subitems of a current item you are on: 

When clicked, all of the subitems of the current item (where the app is opened) will be imported.

If we were to import the subitems of Item 2 into our template, it would look something like this: 

Supported column types

When importing subitems, the values from the following column types will be imported: 

• Checkbox
• Color picker
• Country
• Date*
• Dropdown
• Email
• Hour
• Link
• Location
• Long Text
• Monday Doc
• Numbers
• People*
• Phone
• Rating
• Status*
• Tags
• Text
• Timeline
• Time Tracking
• Vote
• Week
• World Clock

* Fields are editable directly in our templates. Fields that are not marked can be imported into the template, but their value can't be directly edited within the template.
