Throughout the lifecycle of the ticket, our app adds and maintains various tags on the ticket that makes it easy to know where the ticket is in its current lifecycle. A full list of the tags is available here.
In order to solve the ticket when all of its child tickets are solved, we will rely on the mpm_child_tickets_all_solved tag - Tag that is added to the ticket when all of its child tickets are closed.
With that tag in mind, we need to create the following trigger:
- Ticket is updated
- Tags contain at least one of the following - mpm_child_tickets_all_solved
- Status is less than solved
- Status - Solved
Once this trigger is active, each time all of the child tickets are solved, the parent will be solved as well.
Note: If you don't see the tag mpm_child_tickets_all_solved on your tickets, make sure that MPM Tag Parent Ticket trigger is enabled (this is a default Myndbend trigger and shouldn't be edited).
