We are announcing an update to the subprocessors used to support Myndbend Process Manager. To enhance the reliability and performance of our email delivery, Billow Myndbend is transitioning to Twilio SendGrid ("SendGrid") for all service-generated transactional emails.
PHASED ROLLOUT PLAN
To ensure a seamless transition, this update will be released in the following stages:
- Phase 1 (Starting Tuesday, March 17th): Export and error notifications will begin transitioning to the SendGrid infrastructure.
- Phase 2 (Starting April 1st): This rollout expands to all customers receiving system-generated emails (such as workflow notifications and approval requests) from the standard notifications@myndbend.com address. No action is required for these users.
- Custom Sender Address Phase: For customers utilizing a custom sender address, we will be reaching out to you directly to coordinate the necessary technical updates and timing for your specific configuration.
WHAT'S CHANGING
Myndbend is moving to Twilio SendGrid to support the delivery of workflow notifications, approval requests, system errors, data exports, and other system-generated messages.
DATA IMPACTED
To facilitate message routing, the service provider processes only the information necessary to deliver and track messages, such as:
- Recipient email address
- Message content (subject and body)
- Delivery-related metadata (e.g., timestamps and delivery status)
SAFEGUARDS
Myndbend utilizes a comprehensive vendor review process that includes risk assessments to ensure subprocessors’ security and data protection practices meet our standards. When a subprocessor processes data on our behalf, we require data protection and security obligations at least as protective as those employed by Billow Myndbend.
