Ticket templates let you define all of the data that goes into a ticket, which is especially useful for tickets that come up frequently. Now, you can predefine different data, such as subject, description, assignee, requestor, etc. in a template that can be reused each time this kind of ticket is triggered.
You can find ticket templates by navigating to the Myndbend Process Manager admin app > Ticket Templates, as seen in the following screenshot:
This screen contains two main parts:
- Ticket Templates
- Template Sets
If you want to create a new template, click on the plus sign and it will display a form where you can fill in all of the data, as seen in the following screenshot:
Once you fill all of that data into the template, it will auto-populate the corresponding fields once a ticket gets created from the template, no matter where you create it from—the sidebar app, triggers, ticket schedule, or otherwise.
If you have multiple different templates that you want to create at once, a good idea is to group them into a template set, as displayed in the following screenshot:
