Myndbend Process Manager supports custom email notifications that are sent out to Approvers. By default, they are turned off, so the first step is to enable them:
Navigate to Myndbend Process Manager app in the left nav bar > App Settings > Approval tab > Send emails with approval/denial links.
Once you have enabled approval/denial emails, you will see a couple of other options, such as customizing the look of the email by adding your logo and colors of your brand. You will also see a new option on the left side of the app—Email Template:
Here, you will be able to customize the subject of the email, as well as the email body. Our templates support HTML, as well as different placeholders you can find in the list of available placeholders. For customization tickets, we suggest you use the following options:
- How to use different email templates in your approval requests
- How to display ticket data in the email
- How to add ticket attachments in the email
You can also turn on reminders in case an Approver doesn't approve within a certain timeframe. Reminders will automatically follow up with the Approver until they make a decision, or the approval request expires.
